Premium pre-booked parking
You can guarantee your parking space for evening and weekend shows by pre-booking a space in our onsite car park, which is located directly next to the hall.

This costs £10 per car, with any remaining spaces being available on a first come first served basis on the day (card payments only).

Premium parking is accessed via a dedicated entrance off University Road where you’ll be met by a member of our staff. Spaces are limited and we strongly advise booking in advance.

This car park is usually open from one hour before the performance start time but will be clearly indicated on your ticket. To book parking tickets only online please visit the Car Park booking page, choose the date of the performance you are attending and proceed to checkout.

Accessible parking
This is available at the front of the hall for blue badge holders and is free. However, spaces are limited and we strongly advise booking in advance. To book please contact the box office dmh-office@leicester.gov.uk 0116 233 3111.

Public car parking (pay and display)
The nearest public car park is at Victoria Park, just off Granville Road (LE1 7RU). Please allow extra time to park and get your ticket as it can get very busy and currently has reduced spaces. NCP car parks, each approximately a 20 minute walk from the hall, are located at Welford Road (LE2 7AD) and East Street (LE1 6NB).

On foot

By train
Leicester Railway Station is approximately a 15 minute walk or five minute taxi ride from the hall. For service information visit East Midlands Railway or Trainline.

By bus
There are various routes which service the hall, with the closest bus stops on University Road (stage door entrance). Alternative services, dropping off on London Road (A6), are approximately a five minute walk away. Coaches are welcome at the hall but must be booked in advance via box office.

By bike
De Montfort Hall has a bicycle rack which can accommodate up to 10 bikes.

By car
De Montfort Hall is accessible from all major routes, located off London Road (A6).

From the M1, exit at junction 21 and follow the outer ring road (A563), then turn north along Welford Road (A50) or London Road (A6). Look out for the brown signs directing you to the hall.
