Returning to Leicester, we are delighted to be able to bring you this event and give you the opportunity of spending time with a very special person. You will hear all about the life of an achiever, an achiever who has a reason to go on and do superhuman things, things that now seem normal to him.

Kevin Sinfield, having won many championships and Challenge Cup successes as part of great teams, became one of the most successful players in rugby league history. Individual accolades include being the winner of the Lance Todd Trophy, the Harry Sunderland Trophy, and he is one of only five British players to ever win the coveted Golden Boot as well as receiving an MBE in 2014 (services to rugby league football), an  OBE in 2021 (services to rugby league football and charitable fundraising) and a CBE in 2024 (services to motor neurone disease awareness).

Of course, we cannot give you any story of Kevin without mentioning friendships, and particularly one friendship with Rob Burrow.
They have been friends since they were 14 and 12 respectively, and went on to sit next to each other every day in the dressing room throughout 15 years of rugby at the very heart of one of rugby league’s great teams. Their friendship and camaraderie extended beyond the field, and their bond grew stronger over the years. From shared victories to facing life’s challenges.

Kevin and his team are also major fundraisers for charities associated with Motor Neurone Disease. He started by running seven marathons in seven days, but since then he has continued to push himself and others through more physical challenges to raise much-needed funds and awareness for this cruel and debilitating disease.

To date Kevin and his team have raised millions of pounds from challenges such as:

Seven marathons in seven days in 2020
101 miles in 24 hours in 2021
Seven ultra marathons in seven days in 2022
Seven marathons in seven days plus The Extra Mile in 2023
Seven ultra marathons in seven days, Running Home For Christmas in 2024

It’s not just the amazing feats that make Kevin what he is, it’s the understated way in which he does them, the amazing mindset and humbleness in which he carries them out. He has a reason and that’s what keeps him going and we have the pleasure of hearing all about it…

Barrie McDermott
A rugby league legend and another Hall of Famer, along with his great mate Kevin Sinfield. Barrie now makes his living by working for Sky Sports as a pundit and super league expert. The quality of the interviews that Barrie conducts have been exceptional over the years. His events for us included interviews with Kevin Sinfield, Jonathan Thurston, Mal Meninga, Jamie Peacock, Danny Buderus, Gordon Tallis and many more. Kevin and Barrie have a friendship that goes back 30 years, and having lifted many trophies together expect this interview to go places only mates go...should be good fun!

Pete Emmett
The compere and funny man of rugby league. Like Barrie we have worked with Pete for  well over ten years and it has been great to see the career path he has forged for himself. Guaranteed to bring some light hearted humour to the events, Pete is the go-to man for events of this type.
