Heritage Open Days

Get a rare glimpse behind the scenes of one of East Midlands’ largest entertainment venues. Built in 1913 originally as a concert hall, De Montfort Hall is the premier live performance venue for Leicester. The hall is a multi-purpose arts and entertainment venue presenting a wide-ranging programme of performances that include musicals, opera, popular touring artists, stand-up comedy, family shows and classical concerts.

Join a walking tour of the workings of the Hall’s magnificent pipe organ, visit the dressing rooms used by the stars, step out onto the stage and learn about what goes on behind the scenes at this glorious venue.
