Literature at Lunchtime

Join us for a lunchtime lecture exploring great writers, their lives and works.

H.G. Wells
The Time Machine

Wells is rightly famous for his futuristic novels and thought by some to be the first ‘science fiction’ novelist, although Jules Verne has a good claim. Come and enjoy a journey into the future and what we humans might have become, especially if our physical life has been made too easy for us and we forget how to think!
