Wagner’s opera The Flying Dutchman (Der Fliegende Holländer) takes on the myth of the ghost ship fated to spend eternity at sea, while fate knocks on the door in opening of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, arguably the most famous moment in the history of orchestral music.

Customer information - car parking
A series of regeneration works have started on Victoria Park. During this time, the pay and display car parks situated off Granville Road (next to the hall) will be partially closed and fewer parking spaces available. Please allow plenty of time to find parking and arrive in time for the concert.
