Don't miss the 10th Summer Sundae Weekender festival this August. An award-winning music festival held in the grounds of De Montfort Hall and Gardens and Victoria Park, there will be more than 100 acts on six stages over three days.

Confirmed acts so far include Mumford & Sons, Seasick Steve, Tinchy Stryder, The Go! Team, The Fall and The Futureheads.

As well as the fantastic bands, there is a whole host of things to do away from the main stages, including comedy, spoken word, silent discos, The Garden chill-out area, quality camping, food and drink and a kids zone.

What started out as a humble one-day affair in De Montfort Hall gardens in 2001 held over two stages, headlined by Morcheeba and featuring just 14 bands has now grown to be the Midlands’ best weekend of music and more.

And with 2010 being the 10th Summer Sundae Weekender, it's going to be the best yet. Check out the website www.summersundae.com for all the latest news and sign up to our email updates.

Reviews for 2009

“Nine years in, and anyone half awake knows that Summer Sundae is hitting the musical spot better than ever.” NME.com

“Small but perfectly formed... although it has progressively expanded, it’s retained much of its original character... a happy mix of critical favourites and enduring crowd pleasers.” Guardian Guide

“Sandwiched in the middle of the festival calendar between Glastonbury and Reading/Leeds festival, Summer Sundae manages to be far cooler and more interesting than both, choosing top quality talent in favour of the latest ‘buzz’ bands.”  Clash
