Big Session Festival

The Big Session Festival grows year on year to provide festival-goers with a quality, friendly and green event that continues to get better. Bringing you the best in folk music and hosted by the Oysterband, there really is something for everyone at this family-friendly festival.

In 2009 and 2008 we won the 'Greener Festival Award' and were given a special Red Kite Mark for our efforts to make the festival as environmentally friendly as we possibly can. The great thing about the Big Session is there is always a safe haven to keep dry in our indoor spaces and covered outdoor areas so we do our best to make sure you have a great time and stay as dry as possible!

Earlybird tickets for 2010 go on sale Monday 7 December and the reduced prices will be available until the end of February. The early bird full weekend ticket costs £62.50 - a saving of £12.50 - and don't forget, children under five go free. Buy them online here or from the Box Office on 0116 233 3111.
