De Montfort Hall Leicester

De Montfort Hall is Leicester's largest entertainment venue and has been serving the city with quality live acts since 1913. On our website you can find details on shows, news, booking information and details on the facilities here at the hall. Our programme ranges from jazz, ballet, comedy and opera to world and roots music and West End musicals.

We are particularly proud of our classical season which is headed by the renowned Philharmonia Orchestra who have been resident with us since 1997 and we are proud to host the award winning outdoor music festival Summer Sundae Weekender in August.

Transaction Fee as of 01 April 2012

As of 1st April 2012 a £3 transaction fee per order will be applied to all purchases made online, by telephone or in person at the Box Office. Please note this transaction fee does not apply to Literature at Lunchtime or performances by Bardi Symphony Orchestra, Leicester Philharmonic Choir or Leicester Symphony Orchestra. This transaction fee will replace any other previous booking fees and will also include delivery of your tickets.

Fees and Charges (as of 01 April 2012)

We appreciate your business, and will always find ways to continue to provide you with the highest quality products and services.

Transaction Fee

We reviewed our booking process and pricing structure in relation to booking fees and from the 1st of April 2012 a £3 transaction fee will be applied to ticket purchases made through Box Office. The fee of £3 will be charged per transaction on all purchases made via phone, online or from the Box Office and is in-line with current industry practice for theatres and venues. It is important to note that the fee of £3 will only be applied per transaction and NOT per ticket.

There is no transaction fee applied for group bookings of 10 tickets or more of the same performance, on individual car park purchases when made separately from ticket bookings, for educational activities such as Literature at Lunch lectures, on gift voucher purchase or performances by Bardi Symphony Orchestra, Leicester Philharmonic Choir or Leicester Symphony Orchestra.

Car Parking Charges

As of the 1st of April 2012 pre-booked parking is £3 and, if available, can be purchased up until 5pm on the day of an evening performance or up to 2 hours before a weekend matinee performance. Parking for customers who have not pre-booked is £5 on arrival to the car park.
